Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe becomes the first ski resort to open in the Tahoe region for the winter season. With the Lakeview Chairlift and one magic carpet lift operating today, the mountain kicked off its 60th season in business. The resort leverages its high altitude and north-facing runs to get an early start before Thanksgiving.
